RVC competes in NJCAA Division III in men's and women's basketball, women's volleyball, golf, baseball, softball, men's and women's tennis, and men's and women's soccer. Not to brag, but we're pretty good at it. Our teams have won 11 national championships and we have had more than 130 All-Americans.

The Estelle M. Black Library at Rock Valley College features nearly 75,000 volumes and more than 650 periodicals, and access to the interlibrary loan system. It also features spaces for individual and group study, and if you get thirsty, there's a coffee shop in the lobby!
The RVC Festival Orchestra is comprised of student and professional musicians from the Rockford area. This group is open to instrumentalists of intermediate and above abilities who are able to read music. To be a part of the orchestra for this performance, sign up for the MUS 800 RV3 course through Rock Valley College Community Education.
You will meet to rehearse for five sessions on July 21, 22, 28, 29, and August 4 from 7:00 to 9:15 p.m. each night in room 0214 of the Educational Resource Center (ERC) on RVC's main campus.
Cost is just $40 and includes all five sessions and the concert performance!
