Booster Club

Strong athletic programs are built from within, but the strongest programs are supported internally and externally. Thanks to the Rock Valley College Athletic Booster Club, you can take an active role in athletics at RVC.

Founded in 1973, the Booster Club has played a key role in a successful athletic program at RVC. In the past ten years alone, RVC teams have won seven national championships and have had over 50 players named to All-American teams.

Through the years, the Booster Club has made it possible for RVC teams to take spring trips to Florida, Texas and Arizona. The Booster Club has purchased national championship rings and other items to honor championship teams. Though designed to provide the “extras” that take athletic programs to the next level, the Booster Club has also stepped in during times of need to purchase essentials like uniforms and equipment.

Joining the RVC Booster Club is a great way to show your support for the sports teams at Rock Valley College, but it’s more than that. It’s also a lot of fun.

Booster Club members receive free passes to any RVC athletic contest and invitations to both organized and informal get-togethers after selected home games with opportunities to meet and talk with the coaches. Annual events like the RVC Golf Classic and Taste the Hops Beer Tasting Event are great opportunities for RVC Booster Club members to socialize and meet.
