Pacesetter Award

The Rock Valley College Foundation Pacesetter Award recognizes the success stories of recent Rock Valley College graduates.

 

Award Criteria

 

Each nomination for the RVC Foundation Pacesetter Award will be reviewed according to the following criteria:

 

  • Completion of a Rock Valley College program within the prior 10 years
  • Initial accomplishments in his/her chosen field
  • Volunteer service in the community
  • Continued interest in and support of education at Rock Valley College
  • Personal challenges
  • All inductees into the RVC Foundation’s Alumni/Pacesetter Hall of Fame will accept the responsibility of listing Rock Valley College in all publicly discussed or printed biographical information.  Our desire is that all inductees are proud of the role Rock Valley College played in their educational process and willingly and enthusiastically share it with the public.

Nomination Requirements

 

  • A completed nomination form (all sections must be answered as completely as possible).
  • A brief biographical sketch of the nominee (up to 2 pages).
  • Up to 2 letters of recommendation (from employers, civic leaders, colleagues)
  • A brief self-statement (up to 500 words) describing how the nominee’s life has been shaped by a community college education

Failure to follow these guidelines may result in the disqualification of a nomination:
