Testing Center

The Testing Center serves as the central location on campus for the administration of testing programs and services offered at Rock Valley College.

  • Photo ID is required for all testing programs and services.

  • Academic Honesty is expected of all students. Students are encouraged to review the Academic Honesty Standards and Procedures.

  • New Students interested in enrolling in credit courses, must meet testing requirements or be waived prior to registration.  Click Placement Test for more information on testing and waivers.

Fall-Spring Hours:       (For Placement Testing hours - see below)
Monday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Tuesday - Wednesday - Thursday 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
One Saturday of each month 8:00 a.m. - Noon

Remaining Open Saturdays – Spring 2013 Spring Hours:   February 2nd, March 2nd, April 20th, May 11th

Please note: Friday, Saturday and evening hours are subject to change during Interims, summer, spring break and between Fall and Spring semesters. Please contact the Testing Center to verify hours of operation during these periods.

Placement Testing Hours

Walk-in Testing: (no appointment necessary)
Monday through Thursday 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Appointment Testing:
Fall & Spring Semester Hours:  Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays at 5:30 p.m. and select Saturdays.
