The Estelle M. Black Library at Rock Valley College features nearly 75,000 volumes and more than 650 periodicals, and access to the interlibrary loan system. It also features spaces for individual and group study, and if you get thirsty, there's a coffee shop in the lobby!

RVC competes in NJCAA Division III in men's and women's basketball, women's volleyball, golf, baseball, softball, and men's and women's tennis. Not to brag, but we're pretty good at it. Our teams have won seven national championships and we have had more than 100 All-Americans.

Testing Center

Please note:  The Rock Valley College campus closes at 1pm during the Summer.  See below for Summer Testing Center hours.

The Testing Center serves as the central location on campus for the administration of testing programs and services offered at Rock Valley College.

  • Photo ID is required for all testing programs and services.

  • Academic Honesty is expected of all students. Students are encouraged to review the Academic Honesty Standards and Procedures.

  • New Students interested in enrolling in credit courses, must meet Placement Test requirements prior to registration.

Fall-Spring Hours:
Monday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Tuesday - Wednesday - Thursday 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
One Saturday of each month 8:00 a.m. - Noon.

Summer Hours:
Monday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Tuesday - Wednesday 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Thursday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Friday 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
One Saturday of each month 8:00 a.m. - Noon.

Please note: Friday, Saturday and evening hours are subject to change during Interims, summer, spring break and between Fall and Spring semesters. Please contact the Testing Center to verify hours of operation during these periods.
