RVC competes in NJCAA Division III in men's and women's basketball, women's volleyball, golf, baseball, softball, and men's and women's tennis. Not to brag, but we're pretty good at it. Our teams have won seven national championships and we have had more than 100 All-Americans.

The Estelle M. Black Library at Rock Valley College features nearly 75,000 volumes and more than 650 periodicals, and access to the interlibrary loan system. It also features spaces for individual and group study, and if you get thirsty, there's a coffee shop in the lobby!

Tool Kit: All students will be required to furnish their basic tool kit. A complete list of tools required will be supplied to you when you are accepted into the program. The cost of a basic tool kit that will meet minimum requirements will be approximately $1500.00, dependent upon vendor. |

NOTE: FIRST YEAR CLASSES ARE AVAILABLE EITHER 12-5 PM OR 5-10 PM.
SECOND YEAR CLASSES ARE ONLY AVAILABLE FROM 7 AM -NOON.
Class meets each day: Monday-Friday, for a total of 25 required hours of class time each week.

All in-district students, as well as students that live in community college districts that have cooperative agreements with Rock Valley College, will pay in-district tuition and fees. Be sure to remind the person registering you that you live in a cooperating college district. Below is a list of community colleges that have cooperative agreements.
No Charge Back Required for the Following Colleges:
All students that are in an Illinois Community College district not listed above will need to go to the Admissions Office at their community college and request a Tuition Charge back. The college will send this charge back directly to Rock Valley College. This request should be made as soon as possible, but no later than July 15. After this date you will be billed for out-of-district tuition and fees.
If you live in an Illinois non-community college district, you will need to go to your local high school for this charge back. This request must also be made no later than July 15.
If you are a veteran, you will need to call our Veterans Services Office at (815) 654-4350 to find out what to do to qualify for veteran benefits. Do this as soon as possible after completing the Assessment Test.
