What if students say the course is not showing up under Courses?
If the students cannot see his/her course it could be one of two reasons:
1) He/She just registered (within the same day) and it takes 24 hours for it to appear.
2) The course is not yet visible to students because the class has not started. When I look at student submissions, the clock indicates a one hour difference in submission time, e.g. it is now 9:05 a.m., but it shows 10:05 a.m.
Remember RVC EAGLE is not hosted internally. It is hosted through the ANGEL Corporation in Indianapolis, Indiana so the server is located in the Eastern Time Zone. Please remember this when setting up your content.I setup an assignment, but the grades are not appear in the grade book?
More than likely when you setup the assignment within the Lessons tab you forgot to set the assignment's calculation mode for first submission.
To check this go to:
1. Settings for the assignment in question
2 . Assignment tab
3. Click the Edit button next to the assignment
4. Verify the settings.I setup an exam. I can see it, but my students say they cannot...
Make sure that the Interaction Dates are setup under Assessment Settings. If that setting is OK, verify that the Access Dates includes the time period to take the exam (interaction dates) as well as Review dates. Why can't I type in a name in EAGLE mail?
EAGLE mail is solely for course related communication ONLY.How do I access EAGLE when I am NOT on the RVC campus. What software, etc. do I need?
EAGLE is accessible anywhere that has an Internet connection. The only is to use Internet Explorer 7.0 or higher or FireFox 3.0 or higher. To access EAGLE off campus go to http://rvceagle.angellearning.com and enter your login credentials.
