Media Preferences Survey 2009

Thank you to all who participated in the survey

The 2009 Media Preferences Survey time has passed.  Thank you the more than one thousand people who participated in the survey and made it such a success again this year.

Congratulations to Adam Newman of Belvidere, the winner of the drawing for an 8g iPod Nano.

UPDATE: When the survey company drew three additional winners from every entry from every college who participated in this year's survey, another Rock Valley College student won.  Congratulations to Cecilia Garcia of Belvidere.

Take a survey.  Win an iPod.

Take a survey. Win an iPod.For the second straight year, Rock Valley College is partnering with Interact Communications in Onalaska, Wisconsin to conduct a short online survey of what kinds of media you watch, listen to or read.  Some lucky survey participant is going to win their choice of an iPod Nano or a $150 iTunes gift card.

The survey will be available from Monday, September 28 through Friday, October 9.  They say it takes 30 minutes, but smart people like us will finish it in about 15 or 20 minutes, tops.

Your answers are confidential and you only have to answer the ones you feel apply to you.  We collect some basic contact and demographic information, but we're not going to sell or give away any of that information, and the only time we'll ever use your contact information is to tell you that you won the iPod!

Last year more than 1,000 people took the survey and it helps Rock Valley College make decisions on where to advertise, and where you look for information from the college.

The survey is open to anyone over 15 (you don't even have to be a Rock Valley College student).  We want as many people to take it as possible.  Tell your friends or your parents or your kids...anybody.

So take a few minutes and fill it out.  It's kind of fun.  And who knows?  Maybe you'll win an iPod just for helping us out.
