Tele-web courses combine the resources of the Internet with the convenience of telecourses that you can view at home. Credits, content, and assignments are the same for these courses as for standard lecture-type courses delivered on campus.
Video lessons for each telecourse can be recorded each week off Rockford Cable Channel 20. Copies are also available on reserve in the college library and at various libraries throughout the RVC district. A limited number of video sets may be rented from the library for the entire semester.
As with an online course, you must have access to a computer and an Internet service and should have basic computer skills. Also, you should have the self-discipline to succeed in this nontraditional approach.
