Online courses are delivered over the Internet, making taking classes more accessible and convenient. Credit, content, and assignments are the same for these classes as the standard lecture-type classes offered on campus.
With online courses, you’ll be expected to research on the Internet, join in electronic group discussions with other students, and access your professors via e-mail. There may be occasional face-to-face meetings at the discretion of the instructor.
Is an online course right for you? It is, if you have a good computer with good access capabilities (you can also use campus computers free), basic computer skills, and the discipline to learn almost exclusively on the computer. There is an additional $50 fee for each online course.
